After the caves we found some guava trees with ripe fruit. The guava tree is an introduced and invasive plant in the Galapagos. I recommend checking for worms before eating any wild guavas; they like the guavas too. 
Guavas did not get there naturally, just like the berry that is commonly found on some of the islands (these are also quite good).
