Returning to Baltra

On the last day, we woke up early to go to the public bus station. We caught the 7:30AM bus to channel. As soon as we boarded, everyone could tell there was something wrong with the bus. It was having a hard time getting into gear. When the driver finally got the bus in first gear we were already running late. We got up the first hill and the bus would not get out of first gear. The bus continued to chug slowly along the road and everyone started to get a little worried. The bus driver pulled over and told everyone to stay in the bus (nobody did except us) and wait for the next one.
When the next bus finally came, it was almost half the size of the first bus. Nevertheless, everyone piled in and stuffed their baggage in after them.
Despite these delays we got to the airport in time for our flight.
