Las Grietas

The next day, Saturday, we took a water taxi across the Puerta Ayora harbor to an area that has no roads; only foot paths. We saw a salt mine on our way to see “Las Grietas” which is an enormous caved in lave tube. The water is very deep and clear, allowing for good snorkeling and the high walls are good for cliff diving. This makes it a very popular spot for tourists and natives.
